For many years I have taught in some of the finest schools across the South of England and have played with some of the best orchestras in the UK and abroad. 

I was a music examiner for over 25 years and have coached numerous ensembles and orchestral woodwind sections on courses and summer schools. 

I can help you to advance your playing, prepare for examinations and auditions, and give you the tools to improve every aspect of your technique and performance. 

Whether it's a specific issue with your technique or a more general sense that you can do better, I can help you to achieve your goal and broaden your horizons; and all whilst having fun.

I have helped numerous students to gain scholarship places at senior schools and later on to progress to music conservatoires and university music departments. I know the routes to success and which pieces will best demonstrate your technique and musicality.
